The following is a request by Fishers Island Waste Management District for sitework proposals. Bids will be opened on September 16, 2026, at 12:30 pm at the Fishers Island Community Center on Fishers Island. Please submit your bid by September 15, 2026, at 4:00 pm. If mailing your proposal, “bid enclosed” must be printed on the outside of the envelope. If emailing your proposal, “bid enclosed” must be typed in the subject line.

c. Any quantities listed below are for bidding purposes only
d. It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure that all material is handled, processed, and installed according to the specifications. Non-conformance is justification for non-payment.
e. Mandatory site visit with Josh Theodore, FIWMD manager, in advance of bid submission
The sitework to be executed for the period of September17, 2026, to October 16, 2026 is outlined below.
1. Log relocation (logs graded for firewood to be separated and organized for processing)
2. Firewood processing (logs graded for firewood processing)
3. Log relocation (logs graded as non-processible to be stacked and organized)
Optional:
4. Log removal (from Island) of wood and stumps that will not be processed.
