The following is a request by Fishers Island Waste Management District for sitework proposals. Bids will be opened on October 7, 2026, at 12:30 pm at the Fishers Island Community Center on Fishers Island. Please submit your bid by October 6, 2026, at 4:00 pm. If mailing your proposal, “bid enclosed” must be printed on the outside of the envelope. If emailing your proposal, “bid enclosed” must be typed in the subject line.

c. Any quantities listed below are for bidding purposes only
d. It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure that all material is handled, processed, and installed according to the specifications. Non-conformance is justification for non-payment.
e. Mandatory site visit with Josh Theodore, FIWMD manager, in advance of bid submission
The sitework to be executed for the period of October 8, 2026, to December 18, 2026 is outlined below.
1. Brush to Mulch processing (Specifications: grinding with a 3” screen)
2. Mulch relocation (processed mulch to windrow location) (optional if needed)
